ASSORTED ILLUSTRATION WORK
Traditional illustration has always been a hobby of mine, and even though I have moved more into digital artwork, I still rely on hand drawing and sketching to get my ideas formulated before I do anything else.
This gallery includes just a few examples of some more recent works I have done just for fun. I have a broad range of style in these pieces, simply because it’s one of my creative outlets that I enjoy doing for myself.
Included in this gallery are some examples of mixed media work and digital illustration. The set of Hobbit-themed prints was created as a series for a competition I entered, judged by Alan Lee and John Howe – the head conceptual artists for the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies. Two of my entries made it to the final round, and my piece “An Unexpected Party” was picked to be included in the top five winning entries.
